Mason / Mohsen Alharbi
President
Economics with Finance MA (Hons)
Leads the Society, sets its long-term vision, runs day-to-day operations, chairs key meetings, and oversees its conduct, direction, and annual reporting.
Bio:
A few years ago, when I was obsessed with getting into a T30 university, I naturally fell into environments where "every" high school university applicant seemed incredible—in the sense that they had start-ups and great accomplishments. That created an environment where my naivety led me to expect the same level of incredibility from myself, which allowed me to venture fairly early in my life and proudly co-found two venture-capital-backed start-ups. I always asked myself, "Why not me?" which propelled me. And now, it's time for me to ask: why not you?

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for managing the Society's finances, preparing budgets and accounts, and ensuring all annual financial reporting is accurate and submitted on time.
Bio:
Explaining Netflix to a Roman is nearly impossible. Some ideas aren't crazy, just way ahead of their time. I'm excited to help shape ideas into reality, no matter how far-fetched they might seem.
Mishel Al Tali
HEAD OF EVENTS, OUTREACH & PARTNERSHIPS

Leads the Society's events, outreach, and partnerships, shaping event programmes while building relationships with speakers, sponsors, alumni, and industry partners.
Bio:
I'm really interested in finance, economics, and entrepreneurship, especially the ideas and people behind great businesses. I'm always up for an interesting conversation and love seeing where a good idea can go. Outside of academics, you'll usually find me playing tennis, obsessing over horology, or travelling.

Leads the Society's visual identity, creating its branding and design direction while establishing the creative foundations for future communications and campaigns.

Saif Alfassi
Head of Media & Marketing, Operations Officer

Leads media, marketing, and operations, managing the Society's communications, branding, digital presence, promotion, and the smooth logistical delivery of events and activities.
Bio:
I ask a lot of questions, enjoy solving problems, and probably spend too much time overthinking little things. Now I realise that it's just an obsession with fulfilling my vision because details matter. I'm excited to learn and see what everyone will bring to EUVIS.
Omar Taher
Media & Marketing, Operations Officer

Supports the Society's media, marketing, and operations by managing communications, promotion, digital presence, branding, and the logistical delivery of events and activities.
Bio:
We have so much potential. We have the ability to create something big, to make an impact, to find solutions to real-world problems. Sometimes it just takes a bit of creativity and patience. I'm excited to invite people to explore their creative mindset and guide them toward inventing solutions of their own.
Bhavishy Poddar

Leads the Society's operations, overseeing event logistics, venue bookings, scheduling, speaker coordination, and accessibility arrangements.

I'm really excited to be a part of EUVIS, and to meet and hopefully help everyone joining the society. I've taken part in similar venture-building competitions before, giving me a good sense of where I can add value, whether that's in ideation or in iterating on prototypes through The Forge.
